Traces is a transitional body of work where the use of clay and the focus on creating singular object was replaced by exploration of new materials, such as fabric, thread, plaster, found objects while using assembly, collage and layering as the main process. The work began to occupy the space rather then a top of a pedestal. The works in Traces explore the intensities and nuances of the human form while using abstraction and fragments to complete the whole.
